	Margaret Meade once said, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtfully committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” Do you believe this statement? In this essay I am going to explain how small groups of people can change the world, for good or for worse. It was Tuesday September 11, the year 2001, at 8:46AM a tragedy struck thousands of American citizens. A high jacked plane crashed the south tower. At 9:02 another plane crashed the towers but this time it was the north tower. Who could do such a terrible thing? You might ask. Well Mohamad Atta (an Islam terrorist) led the first plane into the south tower. At 10:00AM on that same day a few more Islam terrorist high jacked a third plane and crashed it into the pentagon in Washington DC. They are to blame for the hundreds of thousands of deaths that day. They killed thousands and terrorized millions. A few minutes later a fourth plane was high jacked. It had 4 Islam terrorist and a fake bomb. They don’t really know if it was going to crash into the white house or the capital building but either way it would have been a horrible disaster. But a miracle happen, Jeremy glick and Todd beamer where one of the few hero’s
